Hi --
It was finally dry enough to plant them out today, although if you saw the mud on my pants, you'd think otherwise!
This is about 120 plants put in the ground. I worked a lot of compost into the soil, it's very fluffy, and fertilized with 15-10-15 (this is appropriate for my soils here) broadcast at about 2 lbs per 100 sq. ft. On the right and left are sugar snap peas and pickler cucumbers. I also watered them in with about 1 cup of generic Miracle Grow substitute. I have room for about 200 more plants and will have around 200 plants to sell if I can find buyers. I sold 5 of them today for $2.50 each. They really do make attractive houseplants.
That's all folks!

| Nice going russ. Keep me posted on that. If it grows the way it grew the last 5 years it should be a big plant and the tobacco should have a nice flavor. To me it was like a Viceroy (I don't know if they still make them) or a really old brand called Fatima. Guess we'll find out in December or January. Here's hoping. |
