For those interested, I will have seeds this fall, for a commercial variety of Burley--KT 206. Would like to trade for some other varieties/kinds.

That's a great idea. I've seen a lot of posts here where folks are trying a lot of different varieties.

Yes, and from that source, next spring, I will get at least 3-4 other varieties. I asked too late this go-around, so only got some left-overs. Since I'm also an experienced seed saver, I know to bag blossoms of all but the like varities at any one time. Local plants here, get pollinated by a different species of sphinx moth [white-lined], since regular tobacco hornworms [Carolina/six-spotted sphinx] are very rare here.
Dan, late this fall/winter, I will be getting more seeds from you--maybe collect pkt ea of ALL your varieties.
Yes, I grow tobacco for seed and feed for my hornworms. I don't smoke, dip or chew. _________________ Those who made footprints in the sands of time did not wear loafers. |

Hi --
Sure, I'd like to trade seeds. I have about 3 ounces of Silk Leaf tobacco seed. Bought the originals from New Hope Seed Company and grewa big crop this year. I will trade you gram for gram of your burley as long as you know it isn't crossed with another variety.
Let me know,
Bob

It's a deal, Bob. Since KT-206 is the only one I grew this year, the seed is guaranteed pure. _________________ Those who made footprints in the sands of time did not wear loafers. |

Hi,
Tomato Worm, I need inventory right now as I'm about to do a Fox News inventory on Monday which will likely be released later this week. Please e-mail me at GYOtobacco@yahoo.com (my new commercial e-mail address) and let's swap addresses and seeds ASAP. Or call 972-835-6113.
BTW, my Silk Leaf is also guaranteed pure as that's all I grew and there is no tobacco growing for miles around me. I live out in the country and I know what crops my neighbors grow.
Bob
