Hi --

Yesterday I was filmed by a Dallas-Ft. Worth Fox News reporter who want to interview me as a "Rugged Self-Reliant Texan Protesting Tobacco Taxation Increases".

I can do that!

I admit that I was reluctant to do this, but when she told me that she couldn't find anyone else in the area growing tobacco, I felt like the pros outweighed the cons and went for it.

It is supposed to air today or tomorrow then the video should be on their website, so when it comes up I'll post it here.

Wish me luck!

Bob

Hi --

I wanted to promote this forum and Dan's website but without a URL I can remember it's kinda tough to trip it off my tongue when speaking. I have to look up the website and forum on my favorites list every time.

itgo something?

LOL . . . That's okay bob. I didn't need the publicity anyway. I like keeping a low profile. But FYI in case you ever need the forums url it's http://tobaccotalk.myfastforum.org/forum1.php

Hi --

Dan I can obviously find the forum (lol) but remembering your website or forum addresses is out of the question with all the things I'm already remembering.

I did get a little rant in if it gets past the edit. I said something like, "Well, they didn't just move us smokers to the back of the bus, they threw us off the darn bus!"

Maybe another small rant too...but I tried to keep it fairly non-political except when I was talking about the new FDA Tobacco Center Director who came from the VA hospital system and is going to "combat" tobacco users. Or when I talked about the new "gruesome" pictures they are talking about putting on tobacco products like removed blackened lungs and gangrenous feet to attempt to fear me using my own tax dollars. MAKE ME FEAR?? Aren't we already afraid enough of the Kenyan's out of control spending? Now I'm getting angry again! (smile)

Come to think of it, they might have to edit out everything.....

Bob

Hi --

tanglelegs, on some things there's no going back. Just made up a brick of my Silk Leaf that has had 3 weeks in the kiln and will shred it today. There are no pesticides in it. There are no additives in it. I didn't pay the current price of $42 a lbs for it. It's nearly 8 O'Clock AM and I know where my tobacco is. My only regret is that I didn't grow enough this year and will have to switch back to RYO commercial brands later this year.

The Fox News interview didn't air last night either, maybe tonight.

Bob

If I got some airtime I'd be sure to mention that I don't use one illegal Mexican to help grow it also.
